The Applied Artificial Intelligence concentration prepares students to leverage AI, data, and digital technologies to solve real business and entrepreneurial challenges. Rather than building AI models from scratch, students develop the knowledge needed to understand AI capabilities, limitations, and their implications for business and social value creation. Through coursework in enterprise systems, databases, AI-powered automation, human-AI collaboration, and digital strategy, students learn to critically evaluate AI tools, prototype practical digital solutions, and make informed decisions about technology adoption that consider diverse stakeholders and environmental impact. Designed for future business leaders and entrepreneurs, the concentration develops technical fluency, strategic judgment, digital responsibility, and cross-functional skills needed to lead confidently in organizations where people, AI systems, and technical teams work together.
