Creative Arts and Media Concentration

This concentration prepares students for leadership careers in creative industries, allowing students to combine their business training with classes in film, music, theater, creative writing, and the visual arts. 

The concentration offers an opportunity to explore art and media as powerful forms of storytelling. Students will examine how creative expressions knit together the fabric of culture, shaping ways of seeing and understanding the world. Through close study of creative works and their producers, students will develop a broad understanding of arts and media ecosystems preparing for meaningful entry into these dynamic fields.

The concentration will complement career pathways into arts management, marketing and advertising, design, entertainment, fashion, and more.

Requirements

Note: Of the four (4) required courses, students should combine ONE business course with THREE from the disciplines represented by this list (film, creative writing, art history, theater and media studies).
