The justice, history, and social responsibility concentration requires students to take courses across a range of disciplines investigating different ways of organizing power in society, distributing resources, and living in alignment with justice to ensure the dignity of all human life. This concentration gives students the tools to understand how cultural, political, economic, and ethical structures are inherited, cultivated, and perpetuated locally and globally. Taking courses in this concentration helps students to better understand what their values are and why they hold them so they may better act in alignment with those values and be able to stand by them. This concentration challenges students to be curious and bold in what they understand to be possible by bringing social and ethical responsibility to entrepreneurial thought and action. Students with this concentration go on to have opportunities in humanitarian and non-profit work, social entrepreneurship, consulting, accounting, law, healthcare, and financial analysis. This concentration pairs well with Entrepreneurship, Strategy and Consulting, and/or Environmental Sustainability.

Students must choose four (4) courses from the following lists, selecting at least one (1) philosophy course and at least one (1) course from a different discipline. Note that students may choose no more than one (1) intermediate course and no more than two (2) courses from the same discipline (other than philosophy).
