MOB3532 Career Accelerator

This course integrates organizational behavior concepts with reflection and industry-specific guidance to accelerate students’ ability to explore and launch their careers. To achieve these goals, students will complete assignments related to communication, leadership, self-motivation, professionalism, and career management and relate these topics to their other coursework and experiences in the program.

This course offers a unique opportunity for students to explore how their strengths and ambitions relate to the opportunities available in the industry where they might seek to work. In this process, students will explore and assess career readiness, learn how to leverage organizational behavior concepts to promote their own career success, and practice professional communication behavior. Learning in this course will include readings, assessments, written reflections, group discussions, and peer engagement, as well as frequent engagement with the Center for Career Development (CCD), industry experts, and guest speakers.
